Mad Rocket Barbecue consists of Pitmaster, Justin Crisp, April Crisp, and Anneliese Crisp. This parent-daughter team is from Huntsville, Alabama. Barbecue became a passion of Justin’s in 2019 when he bought his first smoker and burned some foods in his backyard. After years of learning, Justin began to take barbecue to the next level. With their mentors, Smoke Me Silly, Justin began to learn what authentic competition barbecue was like. Today, they compete all over Alabama and the Southeast. Anneliese(6) has even taken the passion of barbecue and represents the team in the Kids Que divisions. Mad Rocket Barbecue is always family first. Together we compete, and together we win.
